We in our Department of Dermatology, GMC & ESI Hospital, perform excellent work towards the wellbeing of patients.
In our OPD block, we have separate consultation rooms dedicated for patients with sexually transmitted diseases.
We have totally 10 beds in our ward. In addition, we have seperate isolation ward for patients with Chicken pox, Herpes Zoster and Leprosy.
We have a seperate lab for bed side investigations like Gram Staining, Acid Fast Bacilli staining, KOH mounts, and Woodlamp examination.
We also perform various dermatological procedures, which include:
1. Diagnostic: Slit skin smear and skin biopsy
2. Cosmetic: Skintag/Wart/Mole removal
3. Therapeutic: Intralesional steroid injections for Keloid and Alopecia Areata. Iontophoresis for
Palmoplantar Hyperhidrosis.
