- We will take theory and practical classes for phase II MBBS students The department of Microbiology is fully equipped and well established department with dedicated faculties.
- Diagnostic Microbiology Laboratory works for 24×7, performing various tests like Bacteriological & Fungal Culture and Sensitivity with automated machines, Serological investigations like ELISA and Immunochromatography.
- We, Department of Microbiology have a well equipped Molecular Laboratory which serves for identification of virus. Also we have a standalone ICTC Centre for HIV testing.
- HOD of Microbiology is the nodal officer for Hospital Infection Control and Biomedical Waste Management. Faculties of our department are constantly engaged in surveillance for Hospital Acquired Infection and we also give training in Biomedical Waste Management and Hospital Infection Control for all healthcare workers in our hospital.
- and also we have well equipped student’s practical laboratory for MBBS and DMLT students. We have achieved 100 percent result in 2023-2024 MBBS University Examination. We are doing many ongoing Research Projects under ICMR with the involvement of phase II MBBS students.
